Beautiful image! Please keep sharing your landscape images for others (including me) to learn from.
I prefer the colour image, simply because the colours and tones are absolutely gorgeous (also a personal preference). I like the B&W but I think I see some odd bits in the sky and clouds above the distant mountains.

I of course much prefer the B&W, it really expresses the mood of the scene. Only thing missing is the call of a loon.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Glad you liked the images. I will try reprocessing the B/W version but it will have to wait a few days as I'm currently traveling.
Christina you may indeed see some anomalies in the sky. I was surprised to learn that if I wasn't careful some banding started to show up. It never occurred to me that would happen with B/W. But it is an 8-bit image. I have to find some way to stitch the 16 bit files without spending too much on software

Thanks for sharing Dan. I should say that my knowledge of B&W images is sadly lacking, but I think your colour landscapes are exquisite!
