Hi Brian,
Color change is probably due to the humidity. Nice capture, I like the detail and reflected light in the cast shadow.

in Canada I thought it was due to cold temperatures. I wonder if it might simply be old age? I did get lucky with this shot. i was heading in with the camera turned off when I noticed the leaf on the stairs.
