    They were at the same screen size, percentage of the original, etc.

    I don't know if the distance is one pixel at a time (I actually doubt that it is unless the image is being viewed at a particular size such as perhaps 100%) but using the arrow keys does allow one to move the image incrementally. That's how I initially aligned the images by trial and error.

    Ahhhhhhh. That makes sense. I thought she was referring to using it as an aid for something else. Even so, using that method requires getting the registration accurate by eye, when I think using an automated method should be quicker and more reliably accurate. Indeed, using the Shift key while moving the image as suggested by Grahame is quicker and always accurate.

    By the way, when we accidentally post a message a second time, we can simply click the Edit button and then the Delete button.
