    Nice, expecting a shortage around here this year and until the naturalists tell of the pitfalls of insect shortages; I'll enjoy it while I can.

    Thanks Isabel,

    That's what i use to pin the bugs down easier to shoot that way
    Joking aside its just one of the spiders markings,does look like a board-pin though

    Yes Binnur, it's a very strange marking,it is only when we see them up close that we notice these things!

    So am I the only one to *see* the sleepy, smiley face on the spider's abdomen?
    And I suspect it's a female as I see no pedipalps.
