    After a little consideration, the spider withdrew. That isn't always the case, these guys don't spin a web they will grab another insect and just envenomate them and hang on for the ride. It's usually a short one.

    I'm often surprised when I find them in an image after I have taken the shot, gone home and started sorting the wheat from the chaff. Here is a gross overcrop of a Southerling Skipper in which a Thomisidae suddenly appeared.
