This looks other worldly Phil and I can imagine how it would inspire those with a sci-fi imagination. I find your images of Dubai to be very contradictory where we see this pristine city scape and then the market and street scenes that are very messy by comparison.

I don't know a lot about this part of the world and your images make me want to learn more. It seems like the difference between the have's and the have not's must be huge.

WOW Phil, I really like this shot and your treatment of it too. It feels like it's straight out of "metropolis"
From an architectural point of view those buildings are beautifully designed.

Thanks Shane. It is a bit of a melting pot. The 'have not's' generally earn well relative to their home countries, being able to send money home to support their families. They're not living in penthouses though.

The skyscrapers and 5* hotels are what are generally photographed here, so my images generally cover areas which aren't documented so much.

On my monitor it appears that the furthest skyscraper is leaning slightly inwards

And on mine it appears as if someone has edited a photo of mine without asking first.

Hardly breaking one of the Ten Commandments, but cheeky nonetheless...
