That's a nice little skipper. They are pretty common in Florida too. I guess they like the warmer climates because I don't recall seeing them up north.

BTW, in spite of your quest to get closer, these shots that put a small creature in its environment say a lot.

I like both styles. The little fellow is a 'skipper'? I think of them as F-15's because of their wings when at rest.
