    Low Tide

    Low Tide

    Hi! all.
A recent excursion with my new piece of equipment, a cpl filter. Not having used one before I would like to have your C&C.

    Cheers Colin.

Geordie, I don't own a CPL, but the little I know about them, it seems to be doing it's job.

Nice composition but it appears a little soft to me.

    Re: Low Tide

Seems a mild CPL effect to me, but whatever impact the CPL was having it is a nice result, and as Nandakumar says, soothing blues. I'm used to seeing CPL skies and water over-darkened/saturated and have started to pull back from full exclusion when using CPL. Mike Buckley suggested in another thread here to pull back "10 minutes" from maximum effect for best results, and I'm finding that helpful. Maybe that's what you did here.

Nice to have your input Mark.
It really was a bit of a guess. I thank you for the Mike Buckley theory it sounds good to me.

    Cheers Colin.
