Experimenting with still life
I had a day to myself and having been to a show recently of beautiful produce and displays thereof, had a go at using some of the produce in our own back garden and local field (no more than a minute walk away. I ended up with this, a little too minimalist perhaps given the harvest season is upon us ?

Minimalist subjects can work well for this sort of scene.
But I wonder about the shadows. Change the lighting to reduce the shadows or shoot from a lower angle to actually exaggerate them more?
Are the blackberries arranged too regularly?
This sort of scene is so difficult to get perfect.
