    Hotel Room....

    Hotel Room....

It's that I don't like white paper backgrounds. A woman does not live in front of white paper. She lives on the street, in a motor car, in a hotel room.
    Helmut Newton

Posting this here because it is 'of people' their passions and pain ...a landscape maybe. but one of crumpled sheets .

Shades of Tracey Emin. Different and the doorway is so important both from the point of view of the image's composition and because of the feeling it evokes together with the crumpled bedding, of a presence been and gone.

I really like this shot, Sharon. I'm not sure how to comment on it, because it has a few different meanings for me, and on a couple of different levels, but I really, really like it.

I wouldn't change a thing, if it were mine.

    A thought!

If you use a finger or thumb to hide that kitchen chopping board shaped 'thingy' that on its side in the right-centre area, does it become an even stronger image? Like I say, just a thought.

Ah Donald...that's the label on my Carpet bag. The 'weekend luggage' on the bed was supposed to help the composition but I agree that that the label is out acting the actual bag somewhat! ( kitchen chopping board thingy indeed! )

Thank you Richard,John, Christina, John and Andrew..I really appreciate your comments.

A very strong image, Sharon. It makes me spend a lot of time looking at it, and I like what I see.

I wondered about the tag, too. Mainly because I couldn't figure out what it was, until you let the cat out of the "bag" . I'm not sure if that's a negative or a positive. On the one hand, knowing adds to the story you were trying to tell; but not knowing adds mystery.
