    Geese at Sunrise

Took this while out on a local lake at dawn in my kayak.
I know the horizon is centered but maybe it works with subjects in top third?

I like this very much. I would be tempted to crop leaving the top 2/3 as a "pano". I am sure someone else more knowledgable will suggest a way to lighten and bring out the shadow detail.

A centred horizon can work perfectly well, Monte, if the too halves are sufficiently different, as this image.

A crop of the foreground, giving a different size ratio, is certainly something to be considered but I would like to see both options before deciding between them.
