    Lily Pad and Fish (B&W)

I left this picture very noisy because I liked the way it looked. Also experimented with borders on just two sides. Comments welcomed.

Hi Karm. I like the idea of it, and your creativity. It's not my cup of tea, but again, I applaud the originality.

    Almost looks surreal. Pretty cool.

Karm, I like it very much. Almost wishing there was some stronger element in the upper right quad to add some balance, but it's a very artistic and pleasing image

Yeah, I agree. I experimented with placing a fish in this space but the photograph began to look too crowded.

Andrew, appreciate you looking at my picture. This picture was not planned. It just happened. I have to admit that I'm not sure how much I like it myself. I'll know better in five years.

The more I look at it, the more it grows on me. I like it when someone makes a photograph such as this one that makes me stretch a bit.

    Hi Karm,

I do like the unusual effect, almost looks like they are sci-fi creatures swimming in a hazy atmosphere - but I watch too much Dr. Who, can ya tell?

These sort of shots rarely work processed normally.

Two things detract for me; the big white copyright+name and the the inverted "L" smooth area along top and right edges.

    Hope that helps,
