Photogenic Chihuahua

Allie is a cute little Chihuahua rescue that somehow has found her way into our American Maltese Rescue. We rescued her from a shelter with the expectation that another rescue group would foster her. The other group renegged so we will find this little girl a furever home. She is a darling and friendly dog...

Some dogs are very cooperative while others are frightened or just have no interest in posing. This little Chihuahua was great but, I shot another dog, Katie a Bischon Friese mix, right before I shot Allie the Chihuahua. Katie was not happy and therefore the images were not that good. This is despite the fact that Katie has been with us for several weeks and Allie had just arrived...





I will try again with Katie in a day or two. She was spayed a few days earlier and that might have contributed to her lack of interest in the photo session.

We too have a rescue deer Chihuahua. When we got her she was 11days old she is now 4years old.when I picked her up at my wifes work she {The puppy} was in a babys sock wrapped up in a rag in a small basket.I had my doubts that she would make it at first.
