    the 70-300mm will become 600mm ffe with 15 mps at the long end but bear in mind that the sensor size will then be about a third smaller than regular dx.
    it will be very interesting to see what the noise levels and dark shadow details will be like with the new sensor too.
    that said, it does look like a very nice piece of kit!

    People may find this review helpful, it compares the D7100 with D5200 and D7000 with images (on Resolution and Noise tab).

    Seems the lack of OPLF isn't something anyone will notice over the D5200 and there isn't that much resolution difference from the D7000 either.

    I'm still going for it over the D7000 because of the 1.3x crop mode, faster fps and better AF, all of which suit my needs to a T.

    ...and the improved focus module. I can't understand why Nikon fails to recognize the passionate D300/s user base who would be thrilled to death for the same body with the D7000 sensor in it. But for the poor ISO performance I'd still be shooting my D300.
