There but just cant grab it.

This scene was so beautiful but I just could not capture it, it adjusted my head off but this is the best I could do. Any advice on getting this right greatly appreciated.

Overall great shot, Benny! The only thing that's bugging me is the bottom two corners.. the colours don't quite fit in with the rest of the picture.

I guess I wasnt looking at those, they are lights from the houses across the street.

I think the roofs along the bottom edge are distracting. I'd try a tighter crop so only the sun and branches are in the frame, but keep the sun centered. Bringing up the midtones and increasing contrast a little would make the branches pop more. Good job getting a decent exposure with the sun in your frame.

Well ya see, that's the moon, that's what I'm talking about. Without the glare that surrounds it, (which is what it actually looked like) that was breathtaking. With the glare not so much. I tried moving SS and ISO to remove it but could not get the tree to pop when I did that. I never thought of the houses in framing it, I guess they just look normal but you are right, it is distracting.
