At our local zoo....the Royal Bengal Tiger was really angry to be a part of the photo shoot...and really it was hard to get the focus right as he was moving restlessly in all possible directions...

Beautiful animal with very intense eyes that you captured excellently in image 2. I share your pain of having to shoot through chain fences. Some zoos are simply not designed to give unobstructed photo ops. My local zoo is the highest rated zoo in the US but almost impossible to get good photography of the animals. They have a peculiar notion that visitor safety trumps photography.

absolutely kevin, but I very much hate the zoo concept...we are not risking anything to see and photograph these beauties of nature...we r perhaps stealing them with money..
