Hi Paul,
looks very blue on my screen. Even though snow can give a slight blue 'Cold' cast this is a little too much for me.
With regards to composition I quiet like it and there are other crop options if you wanted to try them. I tried altering the white balance and other crops and in my opinion they work well.
I'll be interested to see what you come up with, if you decide you make any alteration in PP.

Yup, way too blue for my taste because it looks unnatural. Since he is your friend, why not adjust the white balance for him?
