    Hi Drishya,

For me, you've lost a little too much detail in the shadows.

Could you hold a sheet of white paper, to act as a reflector, on the left to fill the shadows, or a touch of fill flash?

This appears to be white balanced for the setting evening light to be bright and white, so Fill Flash may come out too blue.

Obviously, you could try to recover some detail in your post processing of the shot.

    Cheers,

    Hi Drishya,
I must agree with Dave here, I think you could have improved this picture by playing with the light you had avaliable. As Dave has already said a bit of reflection in the darker areas would have allowed you to capture more detail. Also the weaved matting at the front, seems to be the focus point on my screen, leaving the coconut looking slightly 'soft'.

    Thanks for sharing

Hi Drishya. I like the photo. I do not mind the loss of detail in the shadows because I do not need additional information to enjoy the colors, textures and subject. I would prefer to see a bit more detail in the white part of the coconut, which appears blown out.

    Hi Drishya,

Very nice shot, I like the high contrast and don't think I need more information from the worker areas, but I do like the contrast for dark to light, and the colors. I am viewing on my iPad but I can't see a focus problem at this resolution. Nice job!
