Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 - focus issues

Greetings to the herlpful contributors on this site.
    Your information is simply great.

I have been asking about a manually set P/S camera for travelling.

Well I already have the above camera.
I had discarded it as it has intermittent faulty focus issues, sometimes leaving me with blur instead of a photo.
I have been searching the net to see if I can find the fault documented.

I know it was a common fault, it happened to me when we were at the start of a 7 week UK and Europe holiday.
So I rushed away and bough my Richo Capilo R5 from a pharmacy in Bath!

Anyway, I wonder if I can "ressurect" my Z3.
It may give me what I want in a P/S without having to spend 500-600 for one that has some manual controls.

So if anyone on here has any pointers (and I guess I will be surprised if anyone does) then I would like to read of them.

Note I think I paid about NZ$700.00 (that must be wrong - I see the Z6 came out in the US for 399) for this camera when I bought it, I know it wasn't cheap, well not as cheap as a good P/S is these days.

    Hehe, Thanks Greg,
yes I had found that one, and it does work.
However I guess I was looking for a more technical solution that would give what I hope was more likely to be a permanent fix.

    Have a great day
