    Birds, Birds, Birds

I recently worked on images I shot in November. These were shot at Circle B Bar Reserve, a nature reserve in Polk County, Florida. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Glossy Ibis, when the light is just right the feathers of this bird show a wonderful iridescence. I think this image captures that well.

Lovely shot of the "Glossies" Joe, I'm very fond of Ibis, love their grunty voices! Would you be interested in photographing "whooping cranes"? I'm thinking about heading down to Chassahowitzka NWR for a weekend.

Hello Lesley, I like Ibis also. Ditto the grunty voices, this time of year the White Ibis walk around the golf course I live on grunting and feeding. I'll have to pass on the invite, I have a lot on my plate right now.

Thanks James, I appreciate your comment. Pelicans are a favorite of mine, kind of comical and clumsy looking until they fly.

Hello Bobo, thank you for your comment. I feel your pain with winter in Ontario. I remember when I lived in New Hampshire that there was always winter birds coming to the feeders.
