Krisztina: IMO the two landscape images both suffer from a bad case of the background over exposed, this is also seen in the flowers of the top image as the detail is gone. The out of focus flowers in the lower image are causing my eyes to be drawn towards them and they are not the centre of interest along with the blown sky. The image of the young lady is very good, next time I suggest you shoot with a higher ISO, to increase you shutter speed and try to underexpose to keep those hot spots down, if you shoot in RAW you can later use the exposure slider along with highlights and the shadow sliders.

    Cheers:

Thank You, Allan. I really appreciate the feedback. I did shoot in RAW but I dont have a program to edit the RAW
I will have try to keep your suggestions in mind the next time I'm out- regarding the higher iso to increase shutter speed, but underexpose to keep the hot spots down. I have a lot to learn, and still a lot I don't quite understand- and therefore may not even recognize my 'mistakes'
thanks for your time to reply

No need for a higher ISO. Just exposure compensation - around 1 stop under would help a lot here
