Donald and Greg, thanks for the kind words.
Greg, for this shot I used the Tamron 90mm. Now most of my bug shoots are with the Tamron 180mm. Less stressful
as I don't need to get real close to the bugs.

Excellent capture. Love how cute it looks.
I did a similar a long time ago but that one showed it up as a real nasty character.

I have the 90 mm Tamron, great lens.
Might have to put the 180mm on the wish list

thanks Bobo
Greg, besides the added distance, the 180mm also gives a nice bokeh

Re: Who? Me ... ? It wasn't me!!!
Steve,
I thought these photos were usually with monkeys, but you've managed to capture the 'Speak No Evil' damselfly... now you just need to find the 'Hear No Evil' and 'See No Evil' damselflies as well!

What aperture were you using on this? The DoF seems pretty shallow - I'm guessing in the f/8 range?

Re: Who? Me ... ? It wasn't me!!!
Bill,
Yeah, now is to wait for the other two "Evils" to be pose by the damselflies
You are correct that it was at f/8. When I started shooting bugs, my normal aperture would be between f/11 - f/13 sometimes even going to f/16. But then, it also captures all the distracting and unwanted twigs and leaves at the background. After a while I decided to experiment and I liked the bigger aperture as it gives a cleaner background and nicer bokeh.

Re: Who? Me ... ? It wasn't me!!!
I agree on a side or 3/4 view of a bug, f/8 is sometimes plenty. But in this case, I think the wings and tail become a distraction because they are blurred so quickly.
