    Broken Bridge

Hi. Here are some pictures of an old broken bridge. It's located on the way to Búzios-RJ, so last time I saw it (from the current bridge) I started to think of shooting it someday. Today I woke up early and drove there to do it. My intention was working on monochrome/Low saturation and give the pictures an aspect of old stuff. C&C are welcomed, as always.
Please click the image, for better viewing. Cheers and thanks for viewing!

The fourth is first from the distance, the fifth is the second and the first is the third for me.

PS-about the fourth,a single minor observation

Nice series Otavio, glad you set an objective and go about it. The mark of an obsessive photographer. hehe

I like the nice light in 1 and those with birds in the foreground. You certainly explored the place in detail.

Otavio, a very nice series of photos showing the demise of this bridge. I really like #4 and #6, how you captured the moody clouds over the distant hills in the background. I also noticed while scrolling down the page I cut off most of the sky of #1, leaving the arch and distant sunrise, which produced a charm of it's own.

    Thanks for sharing these.

Oh, and next time your wife say's not to, listen, I find they're usually right.

Thanks Bobo. Yes, shooting this bridge was becoming an obsession! I drove 38Km to take these shots, but it was also a family tour, so everything worked together on this Saturday. Kindest regards...

    Otavio,
You did a very good job transforming the old broken bridge (I recognize the place) in a serie of nice pictures. The compositions are really very good and the BW and sepia photos gave an idea of an old stuff.
Really you woke up early (in picture 1, we can see the sun little above the horizon). Persistence is a important quality to take good photos!
My prefered are the photos 4 and 5.
    Congratulations!
    Antonio.

Hi Antônio. Thank you for the kind words and I am glad you like them. And yes, I left home at 5.15am to reach the place during the golden hour!
