Bateleur Eagle

I took this picture at a local raptor centre. my nieces bought me "Eagle & Owl Experience" birthday present.

Whilst I would prefer to see birds flying in the wild, the ones at the raptor centre were either rescued when hurt, or were the offspring of eagles and owls at the centre.

I have other thoughts about the title, for fun, "Who's a pretty boy then" and my niece suggested "THe Mane Event"

That is one interesting looking bird. nice photo. The focus is perfectly centered on the eyes.

Nice image. I can promise you that you'd NEVER get that shot of a bateleur in the wild. Those chaps don't hang around!
