very nice jeff, i think to me the image works well with no cropping as there is so much interest there, i do personally like the second one with a bit more pp, shows the colours of more and gives some more depth to the green, good work.

    Stunning work Jeff.

I prefer the first one because I am not so keen on the bottom left hand of the second.

It is indeed and that is why I wonder if it is drawing attention away too much from the rest which, in its own right, makes an outstanding image.

I scrolled the images up to exclude that fantastic sky. What we are left with is, I think, are two gorgeous scenes of the land with the mist rolling over it. The sunrise is so spectacular that it grabs our attention and dilutes the beauty that is the rest of the image.

    Anyone agree?

When I scroll out the red in the sky, I see a magnificent valley that rivals others that Jeff has posted. When I scroll out some of the foreground I see a magnificent sunrise. For me it is less common to see both in the same image so I feel it is more unique and interesting that way. Of the three possibilities, there is no second best image in my mind.

I'm trying to reproduce what I see, with these two, I'm getting close I think ... Many thanks for the kind words
