last one of the year maybe?

we seem to be having floods nearly every week here now
so while out photographing them i found this big guy, it took ages to track him and he finally stopped about 6 foot away on the other side of a fence, so this was a close as i could get, not brill shot but i was just glad to get him before he vanished away again.
the little grasshopper was at my feet i think the antenna going through the blade of grass, must be slight movement

last one of the year maybe?

Ours have disappeared already so no more dragons until next year.

Nice shots overall. Background of #1 is killing an otherwise good shot.

#1 you might want to tone down somewhat the distracting highlights on the wings.
#2 he could use a bit of selective sharpening. On the background do a bit of selective de-saturation of the greens/yellows to make the subject pop a bit more.
