    McKenzie Portrait, Second Meeting

My Nikon D7000 finally came in, so I was eager to test it out on the nearest subject available.

Enjoy your new camera! Your model is very worthy of it. I'm not a fan of using such a small depth of field on head shots, so I won't offer any comment about the image itself.

    Just add 'MacKenzie'

As Mike says, congrats on the new kit. Enjoy it. All you have to do now is shoot, shoot, shoot until you know it so well that you don't have to think about using the controls.

Like Mike, I would tend to go towards having the whole head in focus. But the reason for keeping this one is because it's the first with that bit of kit.

Thanks guys. I really like eyes, so a shallow depth of field on head shots doesn't bother me as long as the focus is on the eyes. So it was done purposely, but to each his own .
