    Better today

The weather has improved a bit - here's a couple from this morning ... Comments welcome

On the way back from Am's walk

    Better today

Dawn - got fed up with trying to do HDR in the dark & stuck the Patio light on - does it work ?

Yes it does ... for me. Again, it's the composition that gives it its strength.

Both work, Lytebox really does more justice to first image. Jeff, I hope you don't work outside your home- I don't think I'd ever leave the place for a silly old job.

Both are very appealing Jeff. There's almost a story in the first one.

Both work very well for me Jeff. The first works particularly well with the panoramic view, wispy fog, and morning colouring and the second, as Donald says, has an outstanding composition with attention to detail - right down to the position of the moon in the sky.

I find the second image is possibly a little bright in the top left corner which is distracting me from that excellent sky.

I disagre...the welcoming glow works well with the sky.

    Hi Jeff,

I bet you know what I'm gonna say; "lose the TV aerial on #2"
I tend to agree with Geoff about top left corner brightness too.

#1 is brilliant, makes me want to go there, but even if that were England, I'm such a coward I'd not get the good angles for fear of being chased by 'wild' farm animals, or worse, being told off for trepass or climbing fences/walls by 'wild' farners
... or run over by a speeding motorist in the narrow country lanes

Must be great to live somewhere long enough to know everyone well enough to be able to go where you want, as you seem to.

    Enviously yours, Dave

Thanks for the feedback, I'll lose the TV antenna as you suggested.

There's no law of trespass in France, so one can go where one wants. There are issues with cattle however !
