    Kevin,

I recommend that you start a new thread to discuss the sharpening issues of this image, as I fear that so many people who would benefit from the discussion won't even see it because they assume this thread is all about composition and tonality. Whether or not you start a new thread, post a full-size JPEG so we have the same frame of reference as you when discussing the amount of sharpness. If you do start a new thread, also post the same size image there that you posted here.

Does anyone know if CiC software adds sharpening when it downsizes the image for automatic display in the thread?

Print that. Frame it. Hang it on the wall and put a spotlight on it.

    Mike,

Check out the thread below from a few months ago. It was mostly but not exclusively referring to LR4, but as I recall a more generalized discussion as well

The title of that thread appears not to be a link, Kevin.

Thank you for saying that. Unfortunately, it is not a universal sentiment. Many feel they have reached a certain level and can't possibly learn anymore --especially from those less accomplished than they. I have found that everyone has something they can contribute, it's usually just a matter of trying to learn the proper vocabulary and humility.
