You have been playing hide'n'seek again Bobo

Shots are, as always, as good as you could get under the circumstances, with good focus.

Hey Bobo...I think Dave is correct, you have been playing hide and seek. Stalking the Great Blue Heron. Good captures of an elusive bird.

    Thanks Dave, Jim, Joe.

He is my friendly neighbourhood heron. Stands his ground when I am around but takes off when other people appear. He has let me get to within 10 or so feet.

Only problem is that he is always in some spot with really messy and lousy backgrounds.

I saw this post after I left a question on your osprey post. But I'm assuming you do not also have a friendly neighbourhood osprey?!

Thanks Bruce. The osprey is not quite that friendly. They (I think there are 3 now that come around) will normally be at some point that is furthest from where I am. Maybe throwing fish at him might work.

Keep after him Bobo, one of these days you will catch him with a big fish or a frog in his mouth. I am still looking for the frog shot myself. Almost had it last night but the frog got away! lol

Thanks Paul. He has my undivided attention but so far he has done no hunting. He did take a stab at a dragonfly and that got him off balance and a dunking in the water. That dunking series was posted a while back.
