I just love it, so crispy clear. The heron is my favourite.

Thanks Andre, I anticpated it would fly, so I was ready when it took flight. I got off three frames before it was flying directly away from me. I appreciate you taking time to look and comment.

Thanks Greg, the image of the Queen butterfly is one of my favorites also. It is not as common as the Gulf Fritillary so it is a nice addition to my butterfly images. Thanks for taking the time to view and comment.

Thanks Tim, I agree with you that they do not stay still for long. I find early morning when it is cooler makes them a little slower moving. It's almost comical sometimes following them until they land. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

    Hi Joe,

    Great series (again)

My favorites are the butterflies and dragons for their perfect backgrounds.

    Cheers,

I am always so impressed with people who can get such lovely, clear shots of insects and birds in flight. The last one appeals to my sense of whimsy as it's so humanlike in a fantasy story kind of way

Joe, nice series here. I am partial to the butterflies as well. I think the Gulf Frit is my favorite.

Hi Myra, thank you for taking the time to look and comment. After you noting the humanlike appearance of the last one I went back to look and it does seem to have that appeal. The legs seem to grasp the stem as human arms and hands would. Sometime I hope to get up your area again, I have vacationed in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island but unfortunately at the time golf was my passion and not photography, this time I hope to photograph the beauty of those provinces.
