First of all I want you to know I am no expert.. I love your photo and the lighting on the mom and baby.. I think I would like a closer crop.. Don't really like the the body just fading away.
    Thanks so much for sharing.

I really like this. Having had limited success in photographing horses I'm really impressed by this capture, So ofteh the head is out of proportion to the body or else their nose is buried in thee grass

I like this a lot but wonder if I would like it better with more sharpening, but not so much that you lose the intimacy of the moment. Perhaps sharpening the two heads just a bit would work.

Well done Luis. I love the shot. I think it’ll look better with a little more sharpness. I’m just a beginner so don’t know much, just telling you what I feel.

thank you HMW12, I was very surprised and amazed with this shot, Im with you, Ive never had any luck taking photos of horses.
they were in the barn and when I approached the fence they both came out of it half way, so it helped with the illusion that they are coming out of the dark.

Take a look at the cropped / sharpened version of it that I just posted. What do you think?

Thanks for the suggestion, I really like how much it improved by slight modifications to it

    Re: Motherly love

I prefer the sharpening of the second version and the crop of the first version.
