    My darlin, that looks scrumptious, can I have one. Where in Scotland do the cherries grow? (Except on trees).

    Like the stark black and white. The cherries look good enough to eat. But not at the moment as we just finished canning 35 quarts and 32 pints of cherries.

    Wow....I am surprised you can even look at them Muriel.

    The cherries have been especially luscious this year...despite the horrible weather in Scotland

    My immediate reaction was I wanted to eat them, despite their not being the "proper" colour. A great photo!

    I had cherry pie and custard a couple of days ago; I don't often eat sweets but it tasted as nice as they look.

    Perfect amount of depth of field, great off-center composition, and I especially like that you allowed the details of a few stems to show.

    Of course they're black cherries. That's why they call the medium black-and-white.
