What are they called? Unfortunately, I don't have an example to show. The teacher said it's "motion blur" but it obviously isn't, because when I slow the shutter speed I get indeed blur, and not those lines/streaks that follow after the subject...
Sorry for posting so many questions, but I've learned more from you guys than from that teacher

Example attached (this one was done in Photoshop, but our teacher showed us a horse with the same effect and called it "motion blur")
