White Pelicans in Flight...

I photographed these last Friday at Circle B Bar Preserve in Polk County, Florida. Whereas Brown Pelicans are coastal birds White Pelicans are inland birds on fresh water. C&C always welcomed. Thank you for viewing.

Mine as well! I think the first one would be my favorite if the pelican was coming more at the camera than away from it.

Thanks Frank, I wish #1 would have been coming towards the camera but such is nature photography. When the light is perfect, the angle perfect, and focus and detail sharp the image is then filed away as a hero shot.

Hey Nat, hows photography on the Eastern Shore... I think the Pelicans you have there are the Brown Pelicans, they are the coastal Pelicans. Most time found in pairs or as a single. Thanks for viewing and commenting Nat.
