    RWBB in flight....does this count

Saw the RWBB swoop in and pester the Heron a couple times. Got ready to catch him the third time and off they went. I have been trying for the in flight RWBB. Just did not think this would be my first. lol

He trying to hitch a ride, or being territorial with a bird 20 times his size?

Thanks Jack. Yes Johnny...territorial. The run the Eagles off as well if the Eagle makes a kill to close. They are the small dog of the bird world.

Wow Paul, you are really scoring some awesome bird pics, and that one
belongs in Nat. Geo! RWBB in flight....does this count

Is that in a pond? If so, what is going on there below the Heron's feet?
"Something" is making that water boil...

I'm still trying to find a Heron stupid enough to stand there while I try and stalk
them. Unfortunately, I've got the grace and balance of a drunk duck, so I'm
learning the best approach is to sit in a home-made blind and wait for the
    critters to come to me.
