Lazy Day - Angus & his harem
Recently, we were talking about the problem of shooting black and white animals in sunlight.
While walking through a field I found this scene and had a go. Tried several angles but only this one held any promise for what I wanted to show. And it meant shooting at 90 degrees to the sun.
Unfortunately, these models never do anything I ask. And I'm certainly not going to push the big guy around!
A combination of two different Raw conversions.

Very nice. Could you get the big guy to move his head a little more to the left please? Just go up to him and say please...

Geoff lighting looks pretty good on this shot.

Re: Lazy Day - Angus & his harem
Thanks for the comments.
Attempting to find a good grouping is always difficult with animals and as I walked around to try different angles Angus (my name for him) kept turning his head to look directly at me.
Shot about 20 and rejected half because the exposure just wasn't right, and another 8 because of the composition. I considered this to be the best of the remaining two.
And with dull skies plus heavy showers now, I'm beginning to wonder if I should have retained this shot for my next Project 52 entry.
