    Spring is Coming

It's getting green out there! Taken at Castle Balduinstein near Koblenz, Germany.

    Hi Robert,

#1 because the building is less centred.

I almost suggested combining the two for a panorama, but I'm not sure that would help.

I almost wonder if there was a vertical format composition that might have worked better?

    Hope that helps,

A lovely view; I would have preferred the building to be more to the right, so the house is looking across the image, but is not so central.

Of the 2 i prefer no1, as Dave says the less centred building helps, but it still a little to central for me. great colours though

    Re: Spring is Coming

I have another suggestion. Take the second image and crop it into a square. I'd make the left edge of the image just to the left of the tall tree. This would put the castle off center and looking into the frame. This will put all the attention on the old castle and house. If possible, I'd try to lighten the light green foliage to add a bit more color. This looks like a very interesting place.
