    Good shots Joe, these guys can be difficult to get close to. Not knowing what your Fstp was, I would have stopped down a bit. I am guessin you were at about f8-9. Great for one bird but a group usually requires a bit more DOF. Good catch though, I have seen only one pair so far this year.

    Great series Joe. I especially like 3 and 4, almost comical. Those are beautiful birds, we have wood ducks around here but they have proven very elusive to me ( I am thinking maybe I need a canoe) thanks for posting .

    Nice series! They are tough to capture. How much of a crop did you do on these? Only thing that I would suggest is a little more work on the sharpening and the white balance is a bit bright for me. A bit cool? Sort of looks like a flash or something? May have just been harsh lighting conditions. Of course, this may be my monitor, eyes, etc.

    I do really like the visual "story" and capture!
