    African Iris...C&C Appreciated

This morning I discovered an instructional website by Laura Shoe ( laurashoe.com ) on Adobe Lightroom. In a few minutes spent reading and watching her videos I discovered invaluable knowledge about and how to operate the software. In this image I followed her advice on using the Basic Panel of the Develop Module, also how to use the Adjustment Brush to blur the background. I chose 16x9 as a cropping constraint because it put each flower at the intersections of the thirds which I believe made a strong composition. Your comments and critique is appreciated.

Beautiful flower, lovely shot only maybe crop some off the top too much extra space for me. I'll be sure and not let my wife see this or she will be trying to get some.

Thanks Jack, your viewing and comment is appreciated. My lips are sealed, I won't tell your wife about the flowers.

I am thinking much the same as Jack. I would like to crop the top tighter. Would that then work OK as a 4 x 5 ratio? I'm just guessing.

Thanks Geoff, here is another version I did with a tighter crop. Your viewing and comment is appreciated.

The crop works much better for me. Nicely processed.
