    I like the whole set up of that one, Paul. Clever idea.

    Only question is that his face looks a bit soft. The hands look fine so I don't think we're talking a DoF issue, because everything front and back is also fine. Maybe it's just how the light is on his face.

    i have a feeling its more to do how i processed it.i went back to the image a few days later and had another go.as i wasn't completely happy with it.i think it looks better with less editing and a different crop.

    I would say the first crop works much better: I like the way the metal structure draws the eye to your son. I also think B&W works better.
