Great morning for pictures. Blue skies and cooperative birds. The Salish Kootenae tribe have been breeding, banding and releasing Swans over the recent years but these were born in the wild. Magnificent birds.
My first ever Gyrfalcon, one has been seen most of the winter around the area. Sitting on the power pole and gave me just a few seconds to take pictures.

Shame the Gyrfalcon wasn't white, really magnificent birds. #2 gets the ribbon, excellant balance between the white swan and sky and excellant detail. She must have been close to get that large of a frame on 200mm.
