Graham I used to do black and white in the darkroom with film, I miss that. Now I run it through Silver effex 2 to convert it blk & wht. It is the closest I have seen to the darkroom yet. Check it out here http://www.niksoftware.com/index/usa/entry.php I have the color pro 4 which I am just starting to learn all that can be done with now. I ran this image in the color pro first to make it sharp than ran it through silver effex to convert to blk and wht.

Wonderful B&W conversion. I also like the way you use the tree limbs to frame your image. However it seems to me that the image is tilted down a tad at the left...
