    Just another sunset

This is a panorama stitched from 3 photos.
The colours were not exceptional at that time but what caught my eye and helped me decide in favour of a panorama was the pattern of clouds in the sky - it seem to be radiating from a point.
I took first a couple photos and my 24-105 lens just wasn't wide enough to get everything; that's why I went for a pano.

I am afraid that my PP skills are not the best - what I did:
    - A quick selection of the sky
    - burned the sky to intensify the colours
    - inversed the selection and dodged a bit the lower part

Even if I set the exposure amount for burning to 5% and tried to get an uniform burn, some spots were a little bit over-burned; that will account for any un-natural look.

Well, I am only sharing the image here - it's just that my PP skills doesn't do justice.

I know I'll learn sometime how to do decent post-processing, this is all I can do now

Oh - by the way - C&C welcome

I think you did fairly well. I love these type of cloud formations and would have been happy to have this scene to shoot. Good work.

Nothing wrong with your pp skills. You could possibly play with levels & contrast a bit more to make it brighter overall, but it would be purely to personal taste. I think it works as is.
My only real cc would be that the image seems to have a slight lean to the left.
    Well captured.

I cant see anything wrong with the PP either. No hard edges or tears so it looks fine to me. I would have preferred you uploaded a larger image!

Thank you all for your kind comments I am a little bit more confident now (at least I understand that I am on the right way with my PP skills).

I have uploaded a much bigger image http://www.intasmania.info/CIC/Sunset_Big.jpg - it is still about 1/3 of the original image and it is a 3.7 MB jpg
