    Fire

A while ago I took some photos of a "controlled burn" I just got around to try to process the Raw images. Fire is not easy to get right . Could use some C&C

How do they look to you? By the way, this is neither Nature, Architecture, People or Pets, but didn't know where to put them.

In a way it is architecture, just destroyed. Nice images, hard to find fault with such a dynamic image. The second edited image has an almost cinematic quality about it.

Nat: very nice indeed, just love the last one fire through the windows, the second one is I see taken from the first, you should be able to make the first one look like the second. Again that last one has such life that you can see the beast.

I personally love the fire within the window frame; the detail and structure in the flames is great. The symmetry of the crop also works for me. Though I'm not so sure about the fine orange/red frame.
    In all, lovely work!

    Re: Fire

Thank you all for the comments. The flames were so hot, they were red/orange vibrant! straight out of the camera!
And here, you will see the beast, in the center frame.....looking right at you. Indeed, fire IS a beast!

Amazing photos Nat. You must have been feeling the heat from the fire taking those photos. They really capture the beast as you say.

Amazing stuff Nat. Keepers all. I bet there are a couple of firefighters that would love a copy to frame.

    Re: Fire

Thank you all for the comments. I did offer some copies to the local fire company....here is one of the firefighters resting while the fire cools enough for them to be able to leave safely. And a look inside one of the burning sheds.

I love the 2nd image "the beast escaping" from post #7. I also love the 2nd image from your last post. I am a firefighter so I can appreciate them all. They look to have been hot burns for sure. Glad you stayed safe and clear.
