Kerry, the best time to be in Boracay is late January to early February where the water is calm and cool and the sand is white as snow and light as baby powder. Since you are in Australia, Manila is just a few hours away.

Time to nag the hubby but don't tell him you got the info from Cambridge in Color.

Did I hear someone say "Boracay"? Summer is fast approaching I think the typhoon season has ended. Photo was taken a long time ago but I still keep it...one of my favorite destination during summer!

The Philippines is a great location filled with beautiful sights and made even more wonderful by the friendly and smiling people living there. It is also a place where my English language goes a long way in communicating with the people. I am always formally polite in the Philippines; referring to people as "Sir" or "Maam" and that really seems to break down barriers.

Except I'm on here already I think I went to Boracay as a kid. Fantastic beaches and snorkelling from memory.
