    Ports O Call 3

    Ths is my first posting my images for C&C, as I am a new member. These photos were taken at a marina close to where i live in Long Beach California. It was a dark cloudy day with lots of color in the sky. I wanted to capture the dark and moody but vibrant feeling in the air. The harbor waters gave off a colorful sheen that added to the contrasting view. I'm conern with the composition as well as if they are too dark. I have posted 4 pictures with their websites below. Thank you.

    I was there a few years ago and there are many opportunities for a good shot. One in particular is the Shoreline Village and it looks like this is where you were. Also you get a chance to photograph the Queen Mary. I liked the second and fourth photograph best. It looks like you either have a smudge on your lens or the sensor and it is easily seen on these two photographs.

    Hi Joe,

    Welcome to the CiC forums from me, great to have you join us.

    To get the best from us, you really need to include your images within the post itsel, rather than links to them elsewhere. However, that said, they do need to be downsized to a max of 1000px tall and upto 1600px wide.

    Here's a thread which explains the image posting options;
    HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?
    You may want to refer to post #6 which includes some guidance on down sizing.

    Cheers,
