Wow Antonio!
How did you do that neat bit of magic on the link? It is most impressive!
Hi Susan,
I live in Nelson at the top of the South Island, so you might like to take a look through my galleries (or then again, you might not!) www.pbase.com/cjsouthern
Lots of nice scenery in many places, although traditionally, folks generally get the "best bang for their bucks" deep south (Fiordland / Queentown / Te Anau type areas).
Pop in and say hi if you're passing through Nelson - I'll shout you lunch, and you can put your feet up in a comfy chair and talk photography for a while if you want!
Now, that's clever!
It's in portuguese, but this vid I made in my motorhome trip around south island, you can have an idea what to find around there...
And I also have some pic here...

Thanks for the invite. Perhaps it will work. I would like to come to Nelson, however, I am traveling with 3 other people. I hope the plan will be for us to circle the island. We are camping and hiking our way around for 3 weeks. I am very excited about this trip. As it gets closer I will let you know what our plans actually are.
Images of the South Island, New Zealand can be seen on

and may help you to make plans for your travel
Susan. There is something wrong here.
You don't have to see the photos of the island. What you have to do is just go. Yes, I said go.
The landscape is gorgeous, the air is pretty clean and clear, the water is pure... people are nice and so are the sheeps
Believe me as I have been there myself
I hope you enjoy your trip![]()
