There's not a lot more that you can say other than W.. . No, I'm not going to say it.

An absolutely stunning image, Bill. You couldn't have arranged the people better if you'd picked them up and placed them. You didn't, ...... did you?

    Beautifully put together.

Interesting image great contrast between the natural formation and the new construction... however I find that the composition is not delivering alll that it could; the Rocks positioned in the middle act as a barrier to the eye travelling 'into' the image, the blurred shingle sand in the left foreground is a distraction and does little to frame the image. The characters are good to give a sense of scale... just too many of them. Oh and I wonder what is on the lead on the left hand side?

    A dog, I presume.

I'd have to disagree with you Dave on, particularly, the matter of the rocks being a negative barrier. I agree absolutely that they are a barrier. But I'd suggest that was but one of the many strengths of this image - they separate the beach from the city. The city is some mythical place beyond the rocks, through the haze, whilst life on the beach is bright and sunny.

Very nice shot Bill. The contrast between the natural beach scene in the foreground and the highrise of Surfers Paradise works well.

That well built bronzed guy in the yellow shorts could be me

    Cheers Dave

Love the contrast, and the visual tension created, by the juxtaposition of two worlds.

Just for your information Donald , The Buildings in the BG are at least 15km away from where I'm shooting from , That lens sure bought it altogether, I'm stil looking at it myself

Me too, that is, with Donald's comment. The city does look like a myth, a fairy-tale. I'm glad it wasn't the people who were mythical, on the other hand, that might be interesting too.

    Cheers
