    I'll let the portrait specialists provide the more technical comment & criticism, but that is a very appealing image.

    The only bit I'm not sure about is that piece of ribbon coming over onto her forehead. It would have been nice of that had been flicked back over towards the back her head, but I appreciate that this looks as if it was more of a grabbed portrait and not one that was set up.

    Nice capture of an adorable young lady, dont know weather it could be PP to sharpen the eyes a little though? like donald im no expert (YET)

    However, these are very minor thoughts about an excellent shot.

    very nice, There seems to be a little ghosting off her arm and hand. this could be because of Flash used with a slow shutter speed. I would recommend when using flash with moving subjects like children that you go Shutter priority... say 200th of second. You may need to set you flash to High Speed sync. this ghosting in this image can be cleaned up in Photoshop - perhaps also the ribbon could be removed. I'm sure this photo is being enjoyed by many - keep it up.
